Every prospective applicants should visit the official website page of the University of South Africa to access the student portal and apply for admissions for the 2026 academic year. All applications for taxation programs and qualifications begins from 14th of April, 2026 and all applications are expected to be completed and submitted by the closing date of 9th of May, 2026. To apply for admission and study through Unisa, you need to meet the minimum admission requirements in order to enroll in the 2026 academic year.
Interested applicants wanting to apply for admission at Unisa is demanded to pay a non-refundable fee of R140.00 to obtain the application form. In filling Unisa application form, applicants are required to provide legitimate personal informations, including personal contact details of which the institution can contact you for further informations. Also, applicants must to forget to attach every supported documentations to the application form before submission.
Candidates should note that during the course of their studies they would be required to have access to a computer with a webcam, and the internet. Unisa taxation department exists, to equip and empower students, to develop capacity for logical analysis, of legal taxation issues, required to operate within public and private sectors. Who Can Apply Unisa Taxation Program:
Unisa is dependent on you meeting the specific admission requirements for your chosen qualification.
- Applicants who are computer literate and able to access internet connections. This is very relevant as far as the online courses are typically online based courses.
- First-time Unisa applicants.
- Unisa students changing to a new Short Learning Programme.
- Applicants who previously applied for admission and were not offered a space.
Application Fee For Unisa Online Undergraduate Courses:
An application fee is demanded from every prospective applicants to access the application form.
- The applicant is required to pay an amount of R140 for the application fee in order to get access to the online application form. (Note, the application fee is not refundable).
- The applicants must pay the application fees after receiving their student number from Unisa.
- Prospective applicants must use the number they receive from Unisa and the application fees allocation number as your reference number.

Requirement Needed For Unisa Online Courses 2026/2027:
All applicants are expected to meet the below requirements in order to be enrolled in the 2026 academic year:
- Applicants provide only one e-mail address and one cellphone number during the application process.
- All applicants must ensure to avoid mistakes on the admission form relating to the provision of personal information.
- Copy of your school qualifications (eg National Senior Certificate)
- Copy of your ID document (RSA students) or ID / passport (international students)
- Copy of your marriage certificate (if applicable) or divorce decree (if applicable)
- Sworn translations of documents if they are not in English or Afrikaans
- Any additional documents as may be required for a specific Short Learning Programmes

How To Apply Unisa Taxation Program:
In applying for admission at Unisa for the taxation qualification, the application processes is categorized into two folds. Applications can be applied and submitted online through the official website page of Unisa, and the alternative procedure is the hardcopy process. Below are the steps for both processes.

- Go to apply for admission.
- Fill out the admission for and select preferred qualification.
- After selecting the preferred qualification, click on the course option provided on the same admission form.
- Choose the preferred course provided.
- Attach all required documents.
- Pay a non refundable application fees of R140.00
- Review and make all corrections.
- Submit application.
Unisa Hardcopy Application Process:
- Go to the Unisa premises.
- Pick up the admission forms and fill out all with all the informations required.
- Choose the preferred course provided on on the admission sheet.
- Attach all supported documents.
- Pay a non refundable application fees of R140.00
- Review all information provided and make all corrections.
- Submit application to the administration department of Unisa.
