UNISA Online Application 2025 Undergraduate: How To Apply Online at Unisa 2025-2026

The management of the University of South Africa (UNISA) is inviting all prospective students who want to start a new undergraduate/postgraduate and master’s programme to apply for UNISA admission for the 2025 academic year before the application closing date or deadline. The UNISA application is done online on the official website of the university during the application cycle.

When Can I Apply At UNISA 2025-2026?

Prospective applicants of Unisa for the 2025-2026 academic year may apply online for admission during the dates provided below;

Undergraduate Applications

• Applications for admission to undergraduate programs for the 2025 academic year will be open from August 21 to October 11, 2024.

Honours Degrees and Postgraduate Diplomas:

• Applications for admission to honours degrees and postgraduate diplomas for the 2025 academic year will be open from August 21 to October 11, 2024.

Master’s and Doctoral Degrees:

• Applications for admission to master’s and doctoral degrees for the 2025 academic year will be open from September 2 to November 22, 2024 (with some exceptions).

Short Learning Programs:

• Applications for Short Learning Programs for the 2025 academic year will be open from May to July 2024.

How to Apply Online for Admission to UNISA 2025-2026

To apply online at UNISA for 2025 Undergraduate qualifications, whether for diplomas, advanced diplomas & degrees, higher certificates or advanced certificates, you have to make sure that you meet the admission requirements for your chosen qualification. Follow the steps below to apply;

• Log in to UNISA’s official website.
• Click “Apply for Admission” on the registration portal.
• Click the “Apply Now” button.
• Fill out the application form with the necessary information.
• Certified copies of supporting papers should be uploaded.
• Make an R140.00 non-refundable application fee payment.
• Cross-check your application to confirm that it is complete.
• Submit your application before the closing date.

UNISA Online Application General Information 2025-2026

The applicant will be able to apply for at least two certifications in order of which you like most even though you can register for only one if both of your chosen qualifications are successful.

• You will get a notification from UNISA concerning your application progress. If it is successful, they will show you which of the qualifications you have been accepted into and they will also offer you a space for the time which you have applied which is the first 1 semester of 2025.
• You are required to accept or reject the offer that will be given to you by UNISA within the right time. If you are not able to accept or reject within the deadline, The University of South Africa (UNISA) will take the offer and your space will be given to another applicant.
• Those who are applying to UNISA for the first time need to finish the First-Year Experience (FYE) MOOC (massive open online course) before they will be able to accept the offer from UNISA.
• Please, take note that you can accept one offer only. When you accept the offer for your chosen qualification (even if it is your first or second qualification of choice), the other offer that you selected will take off immediately.
• You have to also register for the time in which you have been granted admission for the semester if you accept the offer UNISA has been given you. Bear in mind that if you don’t register for the right semester of study, you will have to re-apply for admission in the next application cycle.
