Unisa Courses Available For Late Application 2026

The University of South Africa (Unisa) has once again opened the student portal for all prospective applicants who were unable to meet the minimum requirements for the general semester 1 admission or could not partake the early admission for the 2026 academic year. All aspiring applicants are required to pay a non refundable application fee of R140.00 and re-apply for admission at Unisa for the late application period beginning from 14th April, 2026 and all applications are expected to be completed within the specified period and submit before the closing date which is, 9th of May, 2026.

Prospective applicants from South Africa, the African continent and abroad may visit the official website page of Unisa to apply for the qualifications available for selected course and programmes, including diplomas and degrees. Applicants who does not have internet and cannot have access to the Unisa website page may also go to Unisa premises to pick the application forms directly from the administrative department, fill out and turn to the admission board of Unisa or the administration department. Every prospective applicant must take note of this, any applications that will be submitted after the closing date will not be accepted.

The University of South Africa is a credible prestigious institution and does not tolerate fraudulent activities and due to that, Unisa urge all applicants to fill out the application form with valid information, including contact details and also ensure to provide genuine documentations. The below date provided is the opening and closing date for applicants who were not offered any space of qualifications  at Unisa for the previous admission to re-apply for admission for the semester 2 available courses.

  • Any new or fresh applicants who were not offered space for desired course selected but wish to study other courses offered by Unisa.
  • Applicants who were not able to submit their applications on time as required by Unisa.

Unisa Application Fee For Available Late Course:

Applicants are expected to pay a non refundable amount of R140.00 to get the application form and apply for admission for the 2026 academic year.

  • Pay the application fee once you have received a student number from Unisa.
  • Use the student number you receive from Unisa and the application fee allocation number as your reference number.

Requirements For Unisa Available Late Course 2026:

The following list contains the supporting paperwork needed to apply for late admission and study preferred courses at Unisa for the 2026 academic year:

  • Applicants are required to provide authentic documentation including identification documents, such as ID cards, Birth certificate, Valid Passport, etc.
  • All applicants must ensure to avoid mistakes on the admission form relating to the provision of personal information.
  • Applicants must provide every copies of academic record.
  • In situation, whereby the applicant is married or divorced, the applicant is required to submit a certificate copy of marriage or divorce decree if applicable.
  • Sworn translations of documents if they are not in English or Afrikaans.
