All prospective applicants who has already been offered admission space to study a preferred courses and programmes at the University of South Africa must visit the official website page of Unisa to proceed the registration of their selected courses and programmes for the semester. All qualified applicants are required to pay a non refundable amount of R170.00 as the registration fee. The registration period for both online and hardcopy process begins from, 8th of January and close on 28th of February.

Applicants are required to visit the official website page of Unisa to partake their online registration for the semester modules. Alternatively, those qualified applicants who does not have access to internet and applied for admission using the hardcopy procedures are also required to visit Unisa administration department and pick the registration forms, fill it out and submit the application to the admission board of Unisa. Every qualified applicants must remember that, late registrations is not considered at the University of South Africa (Unisa).

Who Can Register Unisa 2026-2027:

  • New applicants who were offered admission and Unisa students who applied for admission to a new qualification may only register if they have received an offer of placement from Unisa and have accepted the offer online.
  • Re-registering students can register for the 2026 academic year during the relevant registration period once they have received their registration details from Unisa.
  • Any qualified applicant who wish to change to an alternative qualification.

Unisa Registration Fee For 2026-2027 Academic Year:

All qualified applicants are expected to pay a non refundable amount of R170.00 to get the registration forms to be able to register the selected modules for the semester.

The hardcopy process is basically recommended to those applicants who do not have access to the internet to partake the online registration at the Unisa website page. Therefore the applicants goes directly to the institution premises and pick the registration forms, fill it out and turn it to the administration department or the admission board at Unisa. Below are the processes to the hardcopy procedure.

  1. Visit the Unisa administration department or admission department.
  2. Pick up the registration form after paying the registration fee of R170.00.
  3. Fill out the form with all required informations and attach every supported documents.
